15th Franco-Irish Literary Festival
Now a significant date in Dublin’s annual literary calendar The Franco-Irish Literary Festival organised by the Cultural Service of the French Embassy in Ireland and the Alliance Française Dublin, prepares for its fifteenth edition, continuing the tradition that led to Dublin’s nomination as a UNESCO City of Literature.
Contributing to the convivial atmosphere of the event and reflecting the new era that is opening with the 15th anniversary, Dublin Castle (George’s Hall) is the venue for the Festival on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th April, and the Sunday brunch will take place in the Alliance Française on 6th April.
French Ambassador to Ireland, M. Jean-Pierre Thébault , will officially open the Festival at 2pm on Friday 4th April at Dublin Castle, (George’s Hall).
18 writers are invited! These writers have been chosen in close co-operation with our Irish partners, together with members of the Festival’s panel representing the Irish universities and the Press.
The theme of the 15th edition of the Franco-Irish Literary Festival is:

● Upheaval – Le bouleversement – Corraíl
● Metamorphosis – La métamorphose – Claochlú
