Ciara wins tickets for Ireland-Belgium Game

Thanks to her excellent results at the DELF French language test, the student of Meanscoil Gharman -Enniscorthy, will attend the Euro Football match in Bordeaux on June 18th.

Out of the 170 000 secondary school students learning French in Ireland, some met the challenge last April to take the international French language test DELF (Diplôme d’Etudes en Langue Française). So did the Transition Year students of Meanscoil Gharman in Enniscorthy.
And that’s Ciara Ni Bhroin, who, with 98 points out of 100, got, not only the best results of her school, but also the best all Ireland results!

Ciara will soon be able to practise what she knows in French, as thanks to her excellent results she was awarded tickets for the Ireland-Belgium Euro Football match in Bordeaux next Saturday.

This prize was specialy offered by French Ambassador, H. E. Jean-Pierre Thébault, with the support of the IAA (Irish Aviation Authorithy) and Bordeaux’s City Council : mairie de Bordeaux.
