French teachers : spend 2 weeks professional visit in a school in France
Developed in partnership with the Department of Education and Skills, the French / Irish Teacher Professional Visit Scheme allows up to 18 teachers from France to visit second-level schools in Ireland for two weeks and up to 18 Irish teachers of French to visit second-level schools in France for two weeks on similar terms.

The objective of the scheme is to facilitate applicants in professional development area and to develop school partnerships.

Joseph O'Connor
 
Journalist for over 10 years, Joseph O'Connor has written 13 books and got nominated to literary prizes for some of them. His work has been translated into several languages.

His last novel The Thrill of it all (Maintenant ou jamais) is shortlisted for our Ambassador's Literary Award.



 
Carine Chichereau


Translator from English to French, she has worked on over 70 novels and articles for the literary review Europe.

Her translating eye has arrived to Ireland lately as she worked on Jamie O'Neill, Darragh McKeon and Joseph O'Connor books.

My French Film Festival

With over 6.5 million of viewings in 2016, My French Film Festival is back with 10 new feature films and 10 new short films.

Aiming at supporting and presenting the diversity of French cinema, the selection is organized this year in 6 themes: Coming of age, We are family, Love & friendship, Psycho, A Woman's life, Midnight screenings.


Join the jury presided over by Pablo Trapero, the famous Argentinian filmmaker, by the choosing your favourite films.

Graphic design invades Paris!
Launched on January 11th, the first edition of the Graphic Design Festival will run until mid-February.
