Labex (laboratory of excellence): Amadeus

The Cluster of Excellence AMADEus gathers teams from twelve research laboratories of the University of Bordeaux involved in a number of scientific and technological issues in Materials Science, and focuses on three targeted research challenges: printable and flexible organic electronics, innovative components based on self-assembled metamaterials, and innovative biomaterials and biodevices.

A Competitiveness cluster: Pôle Mer Bretagne

Created in 2005, Pôle Mer Bretagne is a business and innovation world class sea cluster located in Bretagne-Pays de la Loire. It aims to promote sustainable development of the maritime and coastal economy in Europe and the rest of the world.

A French company involved in R&D: Servier

Servier possesses a unique cultural heritage as the leading French ethical independent research fundation. Founded in 1954, Servier is present with innovative drugs for doctors & their patients in 140 countries, with more than 21,000 employees, including close to 3,000 in R&D.

COMUE: University of Grenoble Alps

Université Grenoble Alpes is currently a COMUE (Communauté d’universités et d’établissements / Association of universities and higher education institutions) created by governmental decree on December 31st 2014. It has 6 members and 4 associated institutions.
