The Footsbarn Theatre in Trinity College Dublin

Dublin city will act as a stage for the works of William Shakespeare during the Trinity College Dublin Shakespeare Festival from June 6th to 16th next. The festival is the largest outdoor theatre event in the country featuring over 60 different performances of Shakespeare’s work throughout Dublin’s most idyllic locations.

This year, a very special performance will be produced in a temporary outdoor theatre in the spectacular surroundings of Trinity’s Front Square with the French company Footsbarn Travelling Theatre as our headline performers with "Indian Tempest".

Footsbarn Travelling Theatre is one of the world’s leading touring companies, performing for the most part in circus big tops, but also in theatres across the world. They are renowned for their exciting adaptations of classics such as Shakespeare and Moliere and for transcending the barrier of language with their unique blend of visual theatre, music and magic.
