Women Rugby World Cup: France 3rd after victory against Ireland

Organised for the first time in France, the Women’s Rugby World Cup concluded yesterday in Paris with the victory of England over Canada (21-9).

Earlier in the afternoon, after a splendid game, France won the third place over the Irish Team after a splendid game (25-8).

Bravo to the two teams who played a skilled game for the numerous French and Irish supporters gathered to support them.

Skills they will be sure to display again for their next meeting in Dublin in February 2015 during the 6 Nations Tournament. No doubt Ireland will again take its chance against France, the defending champion.
