“Women in Politics” public discussion with Hélène Conway-Mouret
Hélène Conway-Mouret, Minister Delegate for French Nationals Abroad, attached to the French Minister of Foreign Affairs, to present a talk on the topic of “Women in Politics”.
In June 2012, the newly elected President of France, M. Francois Hollande, appointed Ms Hélène Conway-Mouret, former Head of School of Languages in Dublin Institute of Technology, as Minister Delegate for French Nationals Abroad . Hélène, who had been elected as Senator for French nationals living abroad in 2011, was previously Councillor at the Assembly of French Citizens Abroad and a co-founder of the Party of European Socialists in Dublin. Now, as a Member of the Parliamentary Delegation for the Rights of Women and Equal Opportunities between Men and Women, she returns to DIT to address the audience on a topic close to her heart, Women in Politics.
